Hi list,
I use rtpengine 7.2.1 branch with kamailio 5.2.x and 5.3.x in
different setups.
Due to some issues with my 5.2.x config I saw the "Total timed-out sessions
via TIMEOUT" grow but "Total regular terminated sessions never" goes up
from 0.
That was an indicator for an non-existing rtpengin
I moved in to an ONREPLAY route and it seems to be working well with the
mangler.
Thank you all.

I tried using nathelper in the following way -
fix_nated_sdp("2","XX.XX.XX.XX"); - it still shows my internal IP.
Attaching my request routes, can you kindly check and see if I am using it
correctly?

Please check this feature merged into used 1.17
This feature is new and maybe not merged k8s or load balancer controller.

Does anyone have success Kamailio deployments via service on AWS EKS with UDP

You may wonder what kind of failure scenario you are trying to address as
replication will probably fail as well in many cases.
One technique would be to use a domain name in the Via, the transaction may
not need to be replicated as it can be recreated by the server receiving
the reply, thanks to

Hi Daniel, I appreciate the follow-up, good to know that this is the right
solution.
Indeed I will complete this MR soon, it will be valuable to always be able
to generate a complete ACC event with locally generated replies to be
matches to a trace etc.

Hello,
hard to track the execution path without a test environment ... I would
suggest to load debugger module and enable cfgtrace for it to see what
actions in configuration file are executed, to be sure it gets to the
fix_nated_sdp().

It looks like rtpengine has to be a bridge between docker-compose network
and external ( for docker compose ) net.
First of all there is an option of rrpengine to listen 2 interfaces, which
can be the same interface but one of them can be advertised to external ip.
So you can give aliases to those

So wheezy will be removed too, jessie will stay for a while.

Hello,
the mangler module does not have any idea of inbound/outbound
directions, so you can use it for any of them.
Also, the nathelper module should have a function allowing to change the
ip in the sdp, iirc.
On the other hand, if you use rtppengine for the calls, then the ips

Hello,
depends what is replaced, but if wireshark shows it correctly, then it
should be fine for your case. Just be sure there is no whitespace at the
beginning of the line.

The routing of requests within dialog should not be affected by masking
call id. Can you get the debug messages printed by kamailio with debug=3
in kamailio.cfg?

do you have a single listen socket and do you use t_relay() for sending

Hello,
Ubuntu Precise is EOL since April 28, 2017 [0] and in order to support
newer Ubuntu releases our deb build system will no longer produce newer
packages for precise.
Repositories will still be there but don't expect any updates.
