Hi!
I am working successfully with Kamailio in my lab setup where Kamailio is
the SBC for Asterisk.
The network layout is looking like this:
SIP-Phone <== PUBLIC NET ==> Kamailio (SBC) <== PRIVATE NET ==> Asterisk
<== PUBLIC NET ==> Carrier
Each public network is reachable from the internet and
via local interface only.

Hi!
Which hostname do I need to request for the certificate when the
servers are load-balanced using DNS-SRV?
Do I need to get the cert for the DNS-SRV subdomain (without
_sip._tls) or for the servers, eg. server0{1,2,3}.pbx.example.com ?
Thank you!

Hi!
I noticed a minor problem when I set up the STUN config of my phone.
When the server is set, I am unable to reach the endpoint from kamailio
(Phone1 -> Kamailio -> Asterisk -> same Kamilio -> no outgoing SIP flow to
Phone2).
If I do not set it, it seems to fallback to it's RFC1918 address whic
Hi!
I read about the SCTP module for Kamailio and I am not sure if I should
load it (currently I am not).
Does this provide any benefit when Kamailio is used as proxy in front of
Asterisk?
At least from Wikipedia and the kamailio docs, it sounds like I can load it
and it does it's magic.

Absolutely agree with this. Should I create a PR on GH for all three
changes?
Any concerns?

Hi!
Can someone share his kamailio.cfg with working busy lamp field in a
kamailio-as-proxy scenario?
My config is based on the example shipped with 5.1.x and asterisk as the
backend.
Calling works fine but PUBLISH / SUBSCRIBE is handled by kamailio itself.
I am not sure but this might be the par

Correct as well, endpoint is not listed there.
I will check if I can get debug from the phone.
Thank you very much!

Hi!
What is the difference between topoh and topos?
I am using topoh which works fine without DB and only needs the mask_key to
be the same on the nodes.
Is there a benefit for using a DB and the topos module?

Hi!
Are there any Kamailio books?
I am still struggling with Kamailio on scenarios that need more then
REGISTER-offloading (like Kamailio cluster with BLF, custom NOTIFY,
DMQ, etc.).
Online docs are very limited or use Kamailio as a single tenant PBX.
What I need is a high available and high perf

Hi!
I need to customize the content of the NOTIFY sent by presence_dialoginfo.
How can I change the message before it is sent?

Hi!
I set up a proxy in front of an asterisk server to handle registration and
similar.
This setup needs topology hiding. I enabled and configured TOPOH which is
working well.
The only header which leaks network details is "To". It lists the proxys
internal IP.
Sure, a proxy should not alter the
e same way as ignore_early_media=true,
but it also sends 180 to the inbound leg when the first 183 is caught.
