Hi,
Thanks. I've already been sniffing the network. The capture file of the
presence server (kamailio) and the ua (watcher) is attached.
Backend subscriptions must be sent to what CSCF of the presentity
domain? The S-CSCF? You wrote me that Kamailio uses dns queries in order

Thanks Alex,
it looks like we'll have to move to mysql in that case (we are much more
experienced in postgres). Is this feature expected to be added for
db_postgres?

Kamailio has relatively little to do with the matter of faxing per se;
it would only be involved in routing the SIP messages. Your other
questions do not pertain to Kamailio.

Hey guys
Here is what I typically do in a scenario like this:
SIPp instance no 1 (port x): handles registrations but will register
with NOT with port X but with port Y.
SIPp instance no 2 (port y): handles the "other" traffic, such as
INVITE, MESSAGE whatever.
The reason for this is that when I
I was trying to use fax with kamailio / asterisk setup and sipce if
possible. In asterisk we had to enable udptl for faxing to work. But i
couldnot figure out where to start with for faxing in kamailio /asterisk
or sipce. Could someone guide me to the right direction please ?
Thank you

Friends,
We've had an interesting discussion on the Asterisk-dev mailing list about
supporting the ;maddr and ;ttl attributes in the via header when sending
responses. We've agreed that it should be considered harmful and suggest making
it configurable whether to support it in Asterisk.

Hi all,

Hi list
we have been testing the mtree module. We do periodical reloads of the mtree
table with the "mi mt_reload" command through xmlrpc. It works fine except
when the db is restarted. If we manually restart the db and then try the
mt_reload commands we get this error:

Hello,

Could anyone tell me how to make the RLS module work properly?
I've tried several different solutions, but I still don't know what's

Hi,
I think, the NAT pin-hole is closed. Normally, kamailio does detect NAT and
therefore does send small network pakets, that the firewall would not close the
port. If you use sipp and kill it to use a new configuration the NAT port was
closed already.

Hi,
I have got the second scenario here to work i.e. REGISTER xml ran,
kill sipp, run sipp with INVITE xml.
There seems to be timing issue associated with this though - if I leave
to long a delay between killing REGISTER xml
and running INVITE xml then the INVITE will not be received by the s
