Hello,
Kamailio SIP Server v4.2.3 stable release is out.
This is a maintenance release of the latest stable branch, 4.2, that
includes fixes since release of v4.2.2. There is no change to database
schema or configuration language structure that you have to do on
installations of v4.2.x.
Hi All,
I am using Kamailio as proxy server with Asterisk but having some issues
with Inbound and outbound calls. Asterisk is a registrar, Kamailio is a
just for proxy. Using softphone call are working fine but using hardphone,
its creating issues.
Here are the test cases.

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I had to reinstall my whole Kamailio + Mongo
environment.
The issue is still present with the last changes.
When reproducing the issue, I see the following log:
[31723]: DEBUG: db_mongodb [mongodb_dbase.c:851]: db_mongodb_query(): query to
collection
Execution of a branch_route[X] block is independent of
lookup(location) -- it is a matter of using t_on_branch(X) before
t_relay().
If you look at the default kamailio.cfg, then you see that lookup
location is used as well as t_on_branch().
A simplified snippet example would be:
request_route {
Just to be clear. The memory is in Kilobytes (kB).

Hi Daniel.
Thank you for your suggestion and feedback on this.
I've tried that already and here's what I've found after 15h on a running
kamailio:
All records in pua and presentity DB tables are gone by the end of the day,
so the expire time seems to be working.
I still see system memory growing
Hello Again,
Thanks for the great and timely help Daniel. Finally adjusted the BLF
lights. Only couple of things, which I'm sure are some functions missing
the call flow, are:
1- When users register or un-register the BLF don't update anything though
NOTIFY are triggered.
2- When call comes from

Hello,
ok, good that is working better now.
I will also look more into these module in the near future. I think the
Expires value must be different based on state, e.g., trying and ringing
should be shorter than active call.

Hello,
r-uri itself is a branch. Practically, an append_branch() in
request_route is adding a new destination in addition to r-uri address.
Maybe you can explain why lookup(location) is not working for you, as
it is updates the branch for r-uri as well as adds the other contacts as

Does anyone know if the async queries of kamailio work with mariadb? I'm on
kamailio 4.2.3, and I can't get the async way of querying to work. I don't
get any errors, but I don't see the queries to be executed.
the relevant part of my config is:
loadmodule db_mysql.so
loadmodule sqlops.so
Hello,
have you set the core async workers parameter?

Seems to me that your ATA has wrong DNS configuration, since with IP it
works fine, with domain name it doesn't.
If you are using public domain name (resolvable by public dns), then
perhaps you may use google DNS server in your ATA box, i.e. 8.8.8.8 and
8.8.4.4
If you are using private domain
Nope, and that was exactly the issue! With the async module added to it, it
just works. It wasn't clear out of the documentation for me, but it makes a
whole lot of sense now ;)
Thank you Daniel, for being our light in our dark moments ;)

Hey community,
What's the best way to pull out the media ip from the SIP INVITE body (for
