Emmm, I got the date wrong. It should be a summery of discussion up to 16 June. Where did the month I lost go? Lol.

Dear all,

This is a summary up to 16 May and I hope to help next step discussion. I recommend that participants first read this email and 2nd version draft of SRFI-261, and of course, I do not object to discussing old content in this email list that was not mentioned in this email again. I also encourage the proposal of new discussion topics.

 1. We have 4 forms of library references, (srfi :N id...), (srfi
    srfi-N id...), (srfi id-N) and,   (srfi N id ...). I have
identified the first 3 except the latest one, because it
introduces R7RS library identifier syntax. I hope some experts can
persuade me, otherwise I wouldn't write this form into SRFI-261.
 2. How to give out the definition of the "set" of portable character?
Is ASCII-only identifiers going too far?  Is there a specific set
of Unicode General Categories that can reliably be mapped to and
from filenames? I personally think "ASCII-only" can be used as a
recommendation option. In this way, when the srfi author proposes
a proposal, they can pay attention to the friendliness of library
names for users to access library files through the file system
    and URL.
 3. This proposal won't discuss the shebang form like #!srfi-4,
because it may cause lexical syntax modification and should be
taken care of in a different SRFI.
 4. The most essential means for SRFI proposals to reach our community
is the SRFI libraries, and I am concerned that naming withdrawn
proposals may have a negative impact on the completed proposals.
 5. I still believe that if a library cannot automatically provide
unified access according to the scheme implementation, then it
    cannot have a name.
 6. The current fact is that some libraries do not have names, and we
need to pick out those who really should be named. I tend to fully
adhere to the rules of SRFI-97.
 7. If we plan to name some of library, should we notify the original
authors? Is there any legal issue?

(Tired)
