Keep talking. I'm not in a position to do anything right now but I am
looking for something (besides grandbabies and church work and boat building

Trent,
Are you sure of the price for the PM wheels? I have not checked the prices
recently, but you used to be able to buy two wheels, insulated, mounted on an
axle for under three dollars! Now before someone pops a safety valve about

Hi,
I have one of the first of Norm's valves in my Mike. However, I still
installed the axle pump because I get longer uninterrupted runs with the
pump. I can refill the tender much faster than you can pump the boiler full
with a spray bottle.
I do use the Saley valve to bring the boiler up to

We need to get together and run steam!!! Very soon! Perhaps my cellar on a

If you go with the Norm Saley good all type valve be sure and
purchase his pump bottle with it. At the end of the filler hose from the
bottle he has put a brass tube that fits right into the top of the
valve. It all works great. For those of us that are not good at building

Hello Everyone,
I ran the idea of a run of CNC turned wheels past my boss. I showed
him a set of Accucraft wheels that I had and explained that the ones to
be machined would be roughly the same size and profile. After careful
thought he said that they would not be very affordable and he was
