an Accucraft dealer who informed me that the C-16s that are "on their way"
are not steamers... they are electric... I tried to call AC to no avail.

I've done it over paint, over pencil that is on paint, and over bare brass. The
spray-on stuff seems to stick to anything that clean.

Where is it you are
I've found that if you use graphite powder, then it helps to leave the
paint on. The powder adheres better to the painted surface. I haven't
tried the spray graphite that Vance talks about.
