I don't know about you, but I remember our last steamup at Geoff's RR. I sure had
a good time I'm not sure about the others. I think most of us did except for the
one with a screw loose, and something missing or fell off or something like
that.. Maybe he is now having a difficult time remembering
Trent,
As you know DH is just around the corner. Although I have not obtained my
first steamer yet I may bring money to do so there. If not I think I can
root around in my closet and scare up an old bottle of single malt scotch,
which I will be inclined to bring with me.

AHHH! I heard Garratt in there! Is there any info you can give me on
building the center frame? I know I could just build the darn thing but
I'd like to hear how the real ones were done. :]
Any info would be _greatly_ appreciated!

Every one of them, I think, since they were all spent in the company of fine
people under pleasurable circumstances.

We are planning on watching the meteor shower from the hot-tub. Its down to

there is a waterproof switch to turn of all the deck lights - I also rigged
a spot light so I can read my Steam in the Garden magazines in the tub

HI,
I carry a piece of one of those refrigerator magnets in my wallet. Home Depot
once had what I thought was brass tubing but the magnet stuck to it like
glue. Plated Steel is not the same as brass. The very fine print said "brass
finish." Let the buyer beware.
Keep your steam up!

Being miserable is part of what makes a memorable occaision. After all, how
many great days of steaming register on your mind? But the miserable ones
loaded with mishaps and cold and burnt fingers do imprint themselves

I stayed up until 2 A.M. to watch a meteor shower a few years ago...what a
show! For almost an hour the meteors came about a minute apart. Sometimes
there were multiple visible over a few minutes.

Trent,
The last time I stayed up way past my bedtime on the promise of
something really spectacular I was greatly disappointed!

Trent,
It is always nice to use humor to deflect ignorance. On the

Hello Everyone,
There is supposed to be a really spectacular meteor shower tonight
with the highlight happening around 4:00am (CST) Sunday morning. This
one is foreseen to be even more grand than the last few that we've had.

Very good points you've touched on, Harry. Size effects the tolerance.
Although, my wife has convinced me of the opposite. I have a big
attitude, and she has a very small tolerance for it. (Sorry, couldn't

I made a trip to the local Lowe's Lumber and Hardware last night and
while walking through the isles I discovered that they now carry quite
