drain cocks look GREAT ! Don't seem a bit out of
proportion. And the diagrams are clear as to how to

The stock Aster Big Boy locomotive does not have cylinder drain cocks.
The model that Pthornto spoke of in his message is owned by Bill Crane who
bought it from Lindsay Crow in Australia. Lindsay has installed cylinder
drain cocks on several locomotives. One such Lindsay installation may be

I was amazed to notice that the Aster 'Big Boy" has tiny, functional drain
cocks on all 4 cylinders! I found this out watching Mike Moore flipping them
shut (with great dexterity) as the loco moved off from cold.
