Hi, 1. Which fuels leave residue on boilers when used for an externally fired boiler? Does Sterno or alcohol spoil a shiny brass boiler? I imagine that butane/propane are clean fuels.
2. I want to build the Project Loco with some modifications as I got two stationary steam engine boilers. After the discussion on proper boiler building practice on this list, Michael Martin took all the information on this project from his site.
