Hello, the problem is that Aster put to small of a pump in the tender for what ever reason. If the Mikado had the correct pump you would not need a good all type valve. But thanks to Norm, I can keep the Mike steaming even though the tender pump i

Hi, I have one of the first of Norm's valves in my Mike. However, I still installed the axle pump because I get longer uninterrupted runs with the pump. I can refill the tender much faster than you can pump the boiler full with a spray bottle. I do use the Saley valve to bring the boiler up to
