Hello, the problem is that Aster put to small of a pump in the tender
for what ever reason. If the Mikado had the correct pump
you would not need a good all type valve. But thanks

I have one of the first of Norm's valves in my Mike. However, I still
installed the axle pump because I get longer uninterrupted runs with the
pump. I can refill the tender much faster than you can pump the boiler full
with a spray bottle.
I do use the Saley valve to bring the boiler up to

beg, ask, otherwise demand that Aster include these pumps in future kits so
that they may be added at the appropriate times during construction. While
