Radio control would provide more variability than a momentum car were it has
a set limit wouldn't it. R/C allows instant throttle adjustment when it is
needed. Close the throttle more to control the downhill speed. For you
manual runners I know this is considered heresy. I actually use both

ah, but paul has high-tension power lines right next to his backyard
and radio control there is problematic; i know he's tried all the
glitch-busting stuff and it doesn't help.
ergo, he's looking for a mechanical way to solve the problem.
