In 3/8 it is 1/32 of an inch.
What could be simpler for figuring out and converting all of those drawings that are
in feet and inches? Of
course in this day of the hand held calculator it is really no big deal.)

(This would be fine when the US goes metric (Metrify or petrify?). But the track
gauge would still not be in
correct relationship. I think it is much easier to do the right thing to match the
track gauge.)

It has been "in fashion" for quite a few years over here and Aster, Samhongsa,
Accucraft, Finescale
Locomotive Co. Caradoc, Marklin, Fine Art models, etc, etc. have no problem doing
just that.)
