Kevin, Building one would be no real problem. Keeping it operating well outdoors would be the challange. I have done sprung point turnouts that seem to work well using Kadee LS coupler springs for the light pressure required on the point rails. As long as reasonably weighted rolling stock is used they work well. To the workshop!
