I have included sssd.conf file. I have tried to keep it as simple as possible but
have tried several iter

That would the best solution for me. I'll keep my eye on the PPA. Thanks.
I haven't tried to rebuild recently, but will give it another shot today. I
pretty much stopped after I got ./configure to finish without errors.
