Hi all, I just submitted a protoXEP [1] defining a token format for pre- authenticated IBR (this has a number of benefits that are covered in the protoXEP). However, it may be that this belongs in XEP-0445 or XEP-0401 instead (I'm not entirely sure what the difference between the two is).
I've gone ahead and submitted the PR, but I wanted to start the discussion before council votes on it as a way to determine where (and if) this functionality should exist.
