Sounds like you should just do what you need with a private extension, then.

I have had a closer look at the documents.
I think it would be possible to add RDFa support to XEP-0071 by making
a rather small number of modifications which would not break existing
implementations.
RDFa does not require any additional elements but only support for
these four attributes (the 'a
