Hi, Sounds a good idea to me. Worth noting that with the new NGC DSO catalogue from Prof Wolfgang Steinicke we'll be able to filter on galaxy surface brightness as well as magnitude (and other fields too, if desired). Have a look in Nebula.cpp from the new NGC catalogue branch if interested. http
