Also after update text on the site you need re-generate *.pot file for

I saw it and I have a two proposal:
1. WIKI/current text change to User guide/current because it more
correctly in this context.
2. Data in wiki is result collaboration

Maybe we should consider working from the same branch, but I'm not sure.

Hello Thomas and Chiraag,
I'm a new developer and I expect I will be working with you in the future
because I am adding a new feature to NebulaMgr and Nebula as well.
Basically what I did at the moment was split the "Nebula" Sky Viewing
option into some of its components - "Galaxies" and "Globula
Hi,
Sounds a good idea to me. Worth noting that with the new NGC DSO
catalogue from Prof Wolfgang Steinicke we'll be able to filter on
galaxy surface brightness as well as magnitude (and other fields too,
if desired). Have a look in Nebula.cpp from the new NGC catalogue
branch if interested.

Hi Thomas,
I went through your branch on launchpad and had a very brief look at the
additions.
I was wondering where the catalogue was :)
Could you send it across. Although I havent checked out from your branch I
expect it wont run without the catalogue.
After copying the catalogue will the other
Hi Chiraag,
I'm Thomas, I'm currently working on the new DSO catalogue blueprint.
My branch is here:

The main changes are in Nebula, NebulaMgr. The catalogue itself isn't
checked into the branch for licensing reasons so I'd like

As I start to read the stellarium code, it seems to me that the entire code
base is huge to say the least.
Would it be feasible to document a short a code walkthrough as to what goes
on where.
I think it would considerably shorten the steep learning curve.

The website is a bit of a mess at the moment. Today Bogdan noticed
that the developers list was broken. I fixed it, but the current
situation is not the best. We did not complete the migration to
gettext and so many of the translations are old, and we currently do
not have the same in bzr as we d

Hi
I am Rajat Gupta. I am pursuing btech course at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute
of Information and Communication Technology, India.
I saw the idea of adding an *add-on manager for downloading extras* on the
GSOC ideas page. I found it interesting and willing to implement it.

Hey
I've been passively following this mailing list for sometime now. I
recently had some free time on my hands and was looking at some of the
blueprints to see if I could do something.
The DSO blueprint seems simple enough for me:

Hello everyone, I'm new and very excited to be working on Stellarium! I
have an idea for my first activity.
Right now, in the Sky and Viewing options "Sky" tab, there is a single
slider for "Nebulas". Not only is the term "Nebulas" a little misleading,
I believe, but it isn't specific enough. M
Thank you so much!

The Landscape downloader is probably a better thing to look at than
the solar system editor. I also agree that the blueprint is somewhat
vague and not really suitable as a spec for a GSoC project. Nor was
this particular blueprint intended as such - I simply wrote some ideas
