HDFC-The Big Short. The biggest short in the market might turn out to be HDFC with a market cap of Rs 187000 Crore. JPM has already cut Earnings Estimates-the first downgrade for HDFC in a very long time. They cite zero growth in loan demand and dwindling spreads from 2.2 per cent to 1 per cent. Borrow money at 8.43 per cent and lending at 9.3 per cent the BPLR. CanFin Homes, GICHF, Repco, DHFL and India Bulls can halve.
