Hello,
I haven't hear of such functionality yet. You're welcome to contribute and provide
code and examples for it .

Actually, my correction isn't quite right either. I believe the attributes
being set/removed here should not have the prefix at all, since this action
is (or rather should be) effectively doing the same thing as the second half
of RequestUtils.selectApplication().
In fact, given that, would it
Hi!
The attached src/doc minipatch enables the logic:empty tag to also deal
with collections.
It is diffed against the current cvs.
Thanks for considering it for intergration,

Hi
An application that worked just fine in 1.0 I have tried to get running
under 1.1 without success. My Tomcat server dies with a bus error during
the initialization of the ActionServlet. If I run the server with

I think the gump build failed because the jakarta-struts.xml project file
does not list jakarta-regexp as a dependency. This dependency was
introduced with the Validator integration.
I think this could be solved with the following line added after the /ant
line:
depend project=jakarta-regexp
On this same note, I forgot to copy the Jakarta Regexp
jar to the dist/lib directory and into the validator
example webapp. I'll file bugs for things like this
and fix them.

Hi,
I hope this is the right forum for this. Does anybody know of a good
tutorial for doing validation with struts? Or does anybody have a good
example of how validation should be done?
Please help.
Thankyou.

If you want to be compatible with pre-jdk1.4 versions it is best to stick
with the apache.org stuff. I assume that this will be the case for the near
to med term.
Sincerely,
James.

Email Validation doesn't allow '-' in address. This
is an error in the Jakarta Regexp package. It also
has trouble with large max values.
ex: ^\d{2,1000}$
Does anyone think we should just switch to ORO? I'm
leaning that way, but I used Jakarta Regexp because it
was considered 'lighter'.
