Hello,
Digester seems to be a pretty nice package for translating XML into
java-objects. I have a question about the error handling though.
It appears that the Digester doesn't propagate some parsing errors,
e.g when a required element is missning. It only logs it to stdout.

This is not actually what you want, but I did start a simple, sample
specification for a Struts application (based on the example). It's
still just an unfinished rough draft, but available at

Most people would name these classes {page}Form.

I searched the newsgroups and found that a number of you have already
encountered and commented on this issue so my apologies for not determining
that before I posted my previous note.
I found I did fix the problem by removing the DTD from struts.jar and placing
it separately in the classpath.

is a problem, without everyone on the list posting "me too" problems.
Hopefully someone will notice. I sent a message to the 'help' email for
struts_user. The text of the message is below. Perhaps this 'matthias' user
same with me - can somebody stop this please?

This is what happens when someone leaves their mail address without
unsubscribing from the list.
the mailing daemon has a strategy for detecting this problem and
automatically unsubscribing
the user who's mail keeps bouncing. this will work itself out and the list
owner has been
notified to boot.

When I do this in MyClass.main() method, everything works fine.
But when I use it in EJB session
