I'm in the process of moving an application from struts 1.0 to 1.1 and ran into a problem in the ActionForm bean class. In the validate method, the code is adjusting the state of the input method depending on the state of the object that the user would be editing. When I try the following code,
mapping.setInput( mapping.findForward( "display_xxx").getPath()); /* where xxx are different state names */ I get an exception about not being able to change the state of a frozen item. Is there a way to unfreeze the ActionConfig object so I can get the application working without changing the method for editing? Thanks, Daniel T.
