I am in the process of coming up with construction estimates for a web project that will be using struts. It seems like a daunting task at this point. I have a gut feeling on how long I could probably turn out a page using a model I approach, but this will be the first real Struts/model 2 project. My only question is: are there any rules of thumb or re occurring patterns that have been discovered when doing estimates on a Struts project assuming the use of at least some of the best practices. Note: As this is our fist, and we still have some learning to do, I will be using the basic approaches from 1.0x. , but some of the new features as well. ie: probably NOT use dynaforms but I will be using nested tags (lot's of lists).
