I don't need interactive resizing in the floating group, but can I ask
StumpWM to assign a specific size to a floating window? I need some
specific sizes for testing I'm doing: half the screen size, one third,
one fourth, etc. I couldn't figure out how to do this on my own, sorry.
Thanks

This is a weird bug. It only happens overnight.
I leave Emacs running on the desktop with no other applications visible
(there's two other windows on this workspace, and many others
elsewhere).
Gnome is running. Without Gnome, this problem doesn't occur.
My WM, via WINDOW_MANAGER in my .gnomer

stumpwm is taking up 100% CPU on my machine. What can I do to debug
this? I'm running under SBCL, and my setup is very unremarkable, the
only slightly questionable piece is the keypress notification at the
end. I've removed all the define-key calls, and I have 9 groups
(started with gnewbg).

I use the Logitech G15 keyboard (very good for programming, by the
way). The g15daemon program generates the following keysyms, which I
added to my local keysyms.lisp:
(define-keysym #x1501 "G1")
(define-keysym #x1502 "G2")
(define-keysym #x1503 "G3")
(define-keysym #x1504 "G4")
