I am all for a global preference for the frame, particularly for setting the
timing delay, instant v. slide transition, or corner vs. edge heat.
However, "am I hot or not" should be a toggle that can be activated with a
key combination, since this may be toggled many times during a single
session.

I find it inconvenient to use the frame key as I use the touchpad with
my right hand, so usually go over to the corner to open the frame,
then back to the middl
+1. It is particularly important to be able to disable them when
dealing with a flaky touchpad.

One option that came up was to delay the popup and another one was to
disable the bottom corners completely. The former I have addressed with
the attached patch. The popup get
