Want to know what people think about Journal Plugins feature[1]
and particularly that design team think about UI changes[2] involved
in this feature.

I tried out build 9. It works for me, but has the following issues:
1). You MUST hold down the check button to get it to boot. If you
don't it goes to the "pretty boot" image with one dot and just hangs
there.
2). The gstreamer espeak plugin does not appear to be installed. The

The issue was related to a set of "voices", audio fragments that give hints and
instruction in natural languages in several activities. As far as I know that
are just dropped out from sugar release

Daniel Drake and Sayamindu Dasgupta have offered to take maintenance
of the 0.84 branches of some modules in glucose and fructose.
I'm happy about this because apart from their technical capabilities,
they are working for OLPC's deployments so can know better what their
needs are.
