There are now three OOo4Kids activities:
OOo4Kids (english)
OOo4KidsEs (spanish)
OOo4KidsFr (french)
The last two are awaiting for approva

Read activity can open epub files.
Can you try opening the files from the Journal?
I don't know if .ePub and .epub files will be recognized, may be you can
check with the mime class.

I'm trying to compile dextrose to install on my XO1 (I follow this
instruction: http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Dextrose/Building).
The compilation stage works fine and after long time I get the imags.
I put the .img and img.crc files on a stick.
After image installation on my XO using copy-nand
