Hi
Reading the through the upgrade process I think I will leave this machine
alone. I dont want to risk the upgrade not working and returning the machine
without a usable OS. It is used by his daughter.

Hi Caryl,
Just curious to know if you tried any experiments with your computers and
insect problem. I note that some antenna are useful at fractions of the wave
length too, like 1/2 or 1/4 so there is a broader spectrum that could be
experimented with there.

Hi:
One of the things I would like to know is that even at the current level of
deployment the OLPC project doesn't get attacked for eroding the indigenous
cultures of places when with some careful planning and insight it could
contribute to the opposite. The sort of thing I am thinking about is
of making sense of a new experience, perhaps with a specific activity?

It would be great if we could see programs like this, and develop something
similar, for the indigenous music cultures of more places.

Hi
I have read in the documentation that Sugar on a Stick does not work so well
on Mac computers and that from a testing point of view the best thing is to
use a virtual machine. I am wondering if anyone can give me advice on the
best option for testing sugar activities using a Mac and virtual
There are a couple of issues in the way of Audacity running smoothly on
Sugar.
The lame issue persists.
The Sugar and XO disk limit requires that substantial recording is written
directly to an external media drive.
The install from the website, the xo file, requires a bug fix
yum install
Can anyone comment on the best video conversion tools for Sugar, and how
best to install them?
