Both can be used. The glib implementation is not as complete as python-dbus
if I remember correctly.

I cannot reproduce. Which distro are you using? It would be interesting to
know if people on the same distro are seeing this.
Couple of things you could try
* Test with a clean profile. I wonder if it depends on what you have in
your datastore for example.
