so I asked some weeks ago something about my problem of the "shaky" movements of the vehicles. The reason you say were the large x,y coordinates and the rounding errors of the floats. Your suggestion with using >> netconvert -s old.net.xml -o new.net.xml --offset.disable-normalization
1) This affects routing while the simulation runs (vehicles may adapt their
route repeatedly to adapt to changing traffic situations). Travel times are
estimated according to configurable parameters.
2) This is for static routing before calling sumo. By default empty-network
traveltimes are used
Dear all, could someone help me to figure out the difference between the
two methods to reroute vehicles?

The author of simpla (leonhard.luec...@dlr.de) confirms that lane-changing to
join platoons is not currently implemented.
Slowing down to allow-catchup is also not possible as far as I know.
