Good point. I fogot to mention that we will drive time point marking nails
through small flat water-proof numerals (Like the little metal ones you see
on mailboxes) on the hour 1/2 hours just so we don't get lost!

Thanks for your suggestion for recycling plastic jars as sundial markers. I'll try them for my next project or revise the analemmatic dial on my front lawn.
