On my G4 Mac, I don't see any popup windows using either Netscape 7.01 or Internet Explorer 5.1. I do have JavaScript enabled. -

Reply to : Bill Thayer Popups are perceived as irritating by users only if (a) they pop up on their own; (b) they are extraneous to the subject matter of the site.: in sum, if they're spam. Yes, the thing that really annoys me is something that 'pops up' when I hover over a particular link
