Dear friends,
We are pleased to announce "CONGRESO INTERNACIONAL DE SOL" which will be held at Museo de las Ciencias de Castilla-La Mancha in Cuenca, managed by our friend Keiko Mataki, on 24th, 25th and 26th of October 2008. The event includes lectures, exhibition, tours and visits to sundials around Cuenca, specially to the largest horizontal sundial of Spain, located in TAIYO square, which contains many interesting elements, all related with the passing of the Sun. When Keiko Mataki attended a BSS Conference in Oxford, she participated in the exhibition where the project of the TAIYO square was shown in her stand. Now this project is executed and Keiko Mataki is very pleased to invite all of you to this conference and to visit this interesting square in Cuenca. The Catalan Sundial Society supports Keiko Mataki and kindly requires the honour of your presence to this event, inviting you to participate with your contributions to the lectures session, or to the sundials exhibition and posters. Podium and poster submissions in English language are welcome as well.
