Hi Frans and sundialpeople. The cuboctahedron is indeed a cube with the 8 corners cut. But cut to the middle of the edges of the cube. So leaving 6 sqares and 8 triangles. It is one of the so-called Archimedian polyhedrons. Regards, Hein van Winkel

Hello All, I just thought that this might be a simple way to introduce solid modeling (thru SolidWorks) to those of you interested in sharing 3D models and who have not already experienced some of modeling's capabilities. I hope that it is ok to send a 1.39K file size attachment for
