But the video also digresses extensively into sundials, astrolabes and little-known Senegalese megaliths and some background material on Islamic astronomical research and takes a side trip to Istanbul. All these are of personal interest to me. I lived in Senegal for three years and have spent time in Istanbul. There are some beautiful videos of Dakar, Istanbul and several mosques. Jack Aubert
