I'm using the last version of 5.5 series (freeware version). I'm somehow reluctant about installing 6 since I've heard so much bad things about this version.

I've noticed that ever since I started running my Freenet node, the Zone Alarm's vsmon.exe process is literally eating memory. It goes up to 700 MB. Whenever the system decides to allocate more memory to vsmon.exe, the whole system is stuck until the process is finished (I suppose re-writing the sw
