Hi,
Java 8 u 261 breaks with the current version of Freenet. There's an
update on the way to fix this issue. As a workaround in the meantime you
can uninstall the update until the release is out.
Here are two articles showing the steps to install a previous Java
update:

Perhaps the wrapper isn’t configured for the new version of Java? Are you
willing to post your wrapper.log?

and after that Frenet quit working at all. My PC runs Win 7 OS. Use of
MS Edge or Iexplorer browser, Freenet still crashes. Why does Freenet
crash??
