Right. The part about having to use vi is what I added to the wiki and someone else removed. I've used vi before. But I didn't know that was the editor that was available on Openmoko. It could've been nano or emacs or I'm sure one of several other options. The wiki just says "edit the file"...

I successfully imported my contacts - even those containing a picture. A miniature picture shows up in the list (I'm impressed). But, if I click a contact with a picture, the phone jumps back to the front page (the initial screen). This does not happen with contacts with no picture. Anybody else

eth0 not detected

I had successfully set up eth0 a few days ago, but it seems to have stopped working. I didn't change my configuration; all I've done is use opkg to update/upgrade. I'm not sure what changed, but it appears that the kernel/hald/udevd is not recognizing the device. Ideas on how to troubleshoot wo
