e phone already
knows the nameserver of the network it's connecting to, why doesn't it
auto-generate this file?

So Qtopia also can't resolve names?
It has a wifi and gprs gui; I assume it would handle such things.

He said it had something to do with the "/etc/matchbox/session" being
accidentally corrupt
