I thought that resolv.conf was getting wiped out at every boot. Turns out that by default it's a symlink to /var/run/resolv.conf, which is mounted on /var/volatile, a tmpfs filesystem. Is there some really good reason for this, or can I just wipe out the symlink and make it a file in /etc? I'
