Hello,
This is latest beta from /~sullrich.
The wireless (wi) interface is turning `off` sometimes (just randomly)
like this:
wi0: flags=8803UP,BROADCAST,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST mtu 1500
inet6 fe80::202:2dff:fec4:3de4%wi0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x5
ether 00:02:2d:c4:3d:e4
and I can't set
Holy crap Batman! This might have fixed it.
Did a little bit of testing only with the pix as the remote client it
comes up after simulated power outages and builds the tunnel again
without issue.
Tested with long/short SA see how it reacts if SAs are expired and it
still comes up.
It actually
I was testing the static ARP feature in the DHCP. I see it created
the static arp entries, which I confirmed by executing a arp an
from the exec.php. When I turn off static arp entries, the permanent arp
entries dont go away.
My immediate thought was all that needs to happen is an arp

One thing I can say is that the images currently in ~sullrich are
lacking the newest wireless code. It should be merged back down to
FreeBSD RELENG_6 soon in preperation for 6.1.
We're basically holding steady until this happens.

Glad to help. Out of
curiosity, where does the pfsense/CP keep the MAC address state
