Hi all,
I make full install in CF ( I know it is very bad idea) so I found the
script "/etc/rc.conf_mount_ro" in my full install but I can write on disk
after running it, so this script doesn't work in full install?.
Thank you
custom overlay was not working for me (used to work until a few weeks ago).
in builder-scripts/builder_common.sh the overlay directory is copied across
to $CVS_CO_DIR. I changed this so that it would get copied across to
$PFSENSEBASEDIR and that seems to work.
is this an OK fix or will it blow u

Hey. It's not very nice, but does the job:
Edit both /var/dhcpd/var/db/dhcpd.leases
and /var/dhcpd/var/db/dhcpd.leases~to remove the unwanted lease

A bit old this, just adding my 2 cents for the archives.
If you don't need gigabit you should have a look at the 3548 and/or 3524xl
(48 and 24 port version), it has 2 additional gbic ports, and cost about
140$ on ebay (buy it now).
They come with layer2 and 3 support, then latest firmware was done

Hi,
Gary, thanks for your answer.
I can confirm that all the CARP VIP being create are part inside our WAN

you should probably be using a 6.2 or 6.3 kernel on pfsense 1.2
the 7 kernel would not be a good idea.

So I want to mod the kernel and make pfsense 1.3 ALPHA embedded but I don't
found any docs except:
