I have some problem with Pidgin start. It doesn't start and and tray
icon is all the time like this one:

I use the lastest version of pidgin 2.6.3 , when I use yahoo account and
make my account away , after the time when my laptop sleep or close
monitor the the account be available not away
I use ubuntu 9.10
whats the problem?

For that icon to appear, Pidgin is "starting".

So it's no longer possible to simply click Reset Formatting with no text
selected and quickly remove formatting on all the text?
I rather liked that "feature" if it matters ... it was very nice when I
forgot to use the "Paste as Plain Text" and wanted to quickly remove
formatting.

I am using the portable application of Pidgin and would like to know if
there is an option or a way to activate boss protection/privacy protection
which is much like the one on MSN. For instance, press two keys and the
application hides but does not close so you don't lose your chats.
