When I open pidgin it connects but then go to : disconnected, Timeout while
waiting for a response from the MXit server.
This is happening since I started using pidgin.

First off, good job on the Pidgin tool.
I'm using Sametime. Is there a way to enter an exact match in Add
Buddy - Buddy's Username?
Our help desk is using names like English 1 and English 10. No
problem adding English 11, but cannot add English 1. Pidgin returns
muliple match
My copy on Windows (I believe it was 2.6.4) popped up an alert telling
me 2.6.5 has been released.
Better than a announce list, IMHO. :)

I have the notification plugin enabled yet I haven't received an
announcement. Odd.

You are more likely to get support if you contact MXit directly. Only
MXit can provide support for the MXit plugin. In theory they will
