My account hasnt been working for over a month now.
Whenever I try to log in, it says,
Unable to connect to authentication server: Connection
timed out.
Can you advise?

There is no such thing as a Pidgin account. You need to talk to
Oracle's internal IT support department about your XMPP account.

I've just had to replace a crashed hard drive and reinstall everything.
For some reason I can't get pidgin to log my conversations. I've set
logging in the preferences but it still won't keep a log. Have I
forgotten something else? Sorry to ask here but I can't find an answer
on line.

I just recently reformatted my PC and installed Windows xp professional.
Pidgin worked wonderfully before the reformat, but now I get the error shown
in the subject on connection, and only a fourth of my buddies are listed as
online. I have already tried uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck.
At go online as invisible on google talk account, Pidgin don't have any of
my contacts, is a empty list. I need go online normaly, Pidgin get the
contact list, then go as invisible, but people can see me online normaly.
They don't see the change between online-invisible-online; always see
online.
