And now MSN messenger is not working.

Simply put, no. Pidgin does not run on Symbian
based phones such as the Nokia 5800.

XMPP server from the mobile, the answer to which is to ask Oracle's

Use pidgin 2.7.5 with clientLogin and without SSL and it will/should
work.
If you absolutely cannot upgrade to 2.7.5 (because you are using an
Ubuntu version for which our PPA
pidgin does not support xmpp visibility settings as there isn't (yet) a
good standard for supporting that.
As to whether you can apply invisibilty settings to groups of people at
once that depends entirely on the capabilities of the protocols involved.
I believe some support that and some do not
