I can't connect to MSN and get the following message:
The certificate for omega.contacts.msn.com could not be validated. The
certificate chain presented is invalid.
I tried deleting and adding a new MSN account and even re-installing
Pidgin, without success.

You need to upgrade Pidgin. The current version is 2.7.9. The first
work round for this change by Microsoft was in 2.7.7.

i currently have a bug where i continually have chat windows pop up with a
group chat, which includes me, my account email with a space in front of it,
and another person apparently randomly selected. this happens every 10ish
minutes.
