Ugh. I can't figure out how to cross-compile from Linux to Windows. :/
I got all the MinGW and libpurple stuff installed but it's missing

So when I"m trying to chat with several people at once on say...ICQ...it
ends up clumping everyone together.
Additionally, I don't get a sidebar showing who's in the conversation.
For example, if I'm in a chat with Bob, Jim, and Dan, it names the chat
"Bob, Jim, Dan" and proceeds to show every m

i just dowloaded pidgin for windows and i am unable to select a second

I can't connect to MSN and get the following message:
"The certificate for omega.contacts.msn.com could not be validated. The

I tried deleting and adding a new MSN account and even re-installing
Pidgin, without success.

I've noticed for a long time that the buddy name gets truncated for certain
people. I found the commonality to be the way the adminstrator assigned the
name.
For instance: "Crane, Dave x28619,Crane,Crane,Crane" displays as "Dave x28619"
(truncated)
or: "Passes, Harvey,Passes" display
