It would appear that openoffice moved the libraries you use for spellcheck.
The automated install of the libraries with a fresh install of pidgin does
not work, nor does the set of instructions in your FAQ. It links to a dead
FTP server.

The problem is, that doesn't work, at least not following the dirrections in
the FAQ. Create the string of directories, /pidgin/spellcheck/en_US, with
the contents of that renamed zip file. No spell check.
