I am able to connect to Gtalk through pidgin (don't know whether Gtalk
has/uses XMPP servers)
How can I check whether I am able to connect to other XMPP servers?
Hoping that it is a temporary issue with Facebook XMPP servers, and not
something more sinister like a network/firewall/router/content f
of without it).

Hi,
I have downloaded the latest version of Pidgin IM.
I am able to connect to Gtalk, but am not able to connect to Facebook chat.
I did some reading on the net, tried lots of permutations and combination,
but to no avail.
Can you please help?
I am clear about my Facebook username, so that is no
